Board Secretary’s Reports in accordance with 18A:17-36 and 18A:17-9 for the month of October 2016.  The Board Secretary certifies that no line item account has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c)3 and that sufficient funds are available to meet the district’s financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.
 
Treasurer’s Reports in accordance with 18A:17-36 and 18A:17-9 for the month of October 2016.  The Treasurer’s Reports and Secretary’s Reports are in agreement for the month of October 2016.
 
Board Secretary in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c)2 certifies that there are no changes in anticipated revenue amounts or revenue sources.
 
Board of Education Certification – pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c)4.  We certify that after review of the secretary’s monthly financial report (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials, that to the best of our knowledge no major accounts or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c)3 and that sufficient funds are available to meet the district’s financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

3) Head Fall Cheerleading Coach
Recommend Board ratify Alexandra Anthony as Head Fall Cheerleading Coach for the 2016-2017 school year effective October 31, 2016, Step 1, at a prorated salary of $2,746.95 pending settlement of the July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019 GEA, GESPA and GPSA Agreements.  Ms. Anthony is replacing Ms. Faulkner who served as interim coach while awaiting completion of required paperwork. Recommend Board ratify the transfer of Karin Pescatore from Grade 6 Special Education Inclusion Teacher to Grade 6 Teacher effective November 14, 2016 to June 30, 2017.  Ms. Pescatore will be replacing Ms. Kornicki due to a position change.  (attachment)
 
c. Assistant Transportation Supervisor
Recommend Board approval of Joanne Costello as Assistant Transportation Supervisor at an annual prorated salary of $42,000.00 effective December 1, 2016.  Ms. Costello has been a bus driver in the district for 16 years and is replacing Ms. Satterfield due to retirement. (attachment)
 
d. GIS School Secretary
Recommend Board approval of Sharon Mucerino as Secretary-12 Month A at GIS for the 2016-2017 school year.  Salary will reflect 2.75% increase currently being approved for Central Office staff members.  Start date to be determined.  Ms. Mucerino will be replacing Ms. Leon due to retirement.

4. CLCCP at Rowan University
Recommend Board approval for Student ID #16-9628 to utilize the Board Approved College Level Course Credit Program at Rowan University.  The student will be taking Calculus II at the university.  The student/parent will be responsible for 1/3 of the cost; Glassboro Board of Education 1/3; and Rowan University 1/3.  The cost to the district is approximately $483.00.
